I love going here! The employee's are all very friendly and are more than helpful! They have old models of campers and such as well as new top of the line Campers & Rvs! I recommend only Buying or Renting campers here.
I have two different problems with how we have been treated at Holiday RV in Poncha Springs. First, we bought a gently used Lance 825 for top dollar for our Ford F150. I had serious doubts regarding this truck's payload capacity for this camper. Both Lance, and Holiday RV assured us it is a good match. Even with 10 ply tires and air bags, I still feel like we will break the truck, and it is my every day vehicle. I would not recommend this match. I felt like the employees at Holiday cared much more about making a sale than about our safety.
Holiday RV has a lot of RV types for your to tour: Truck Campers, pop-ups, Travel Trailers. We were there to check out Lance and Cirrus Truck Campers. They have a parts are. The people who work there are super friendly and not pushy. They let us wonder around and look at RVs without following us around and bugging us, yet when we needed help they were nice and knowledgeable. Good place to shop for an RV.
While waiting, service did not communicate with us, and we witnessed the receptionist treating other customers in a rude manner, turning them away.
Secondly, we drove off the lot in late August 2016. In early March 2017 we were packing up to use the camper when I noticed the mattress and bedding were completely soaked with water. The vent was closed. The mattress was moldy and had to be taken to the landfill. Ironic, because the comfortable mattress is what sold the unit to my husband in the first place. I called and spoke with Dara, the GM, who was short and rude with me. She said we could bring the camper in and they would figure out why it leaked, but was incredulous when I suggested they replace the mattress. We live four hours away over a mountain pass and we work regular jobs, so it is not convenient for us to make the trip. They were completely unaccommodating to our schedule, saying we need to be there by 9 am on a Saturday so that her employees can go home by 5:00! How long can it take to evaluate the leak and fix it? So, we did make it in at 9 am on a Saturday. They caulked, and said the leak was our fault because caulk is a maintenance item. When I buy a camper in the fall, I expect it to be worthy of one winter.
Great! We had the greatest experience with Cathi and Burch purchasing a travel trailer. Pleasent and helpful and quick without feeling rushed. Thanks guys!
Negotiated and bought my 2017 Lance 2285 over the phone. The goods were as described, with the exception of one item and ready for me to collect on time. Dealt with very helpful sales people and accommodating GM. The exception was a lack of solar panels, which were not fitted although detailed in the sales sheet. The GM made good on this discrepancy without question. I was very happy with all and everyone at Holiday RV and would recommend them to anyone
In summary, Holiday provides poor customer service and they do not back the products that they sell.
